Host Profile

Byoung-Joo Kim leads a consulting firm, KL&P. For over a decade, he explained Korea's current issues to world audience through satellite broadcasting as a TV commentator and taught at Ewha Womans University and Hankook University of Foreign Studies as an adjunct professor. Prior to that, he was a diplomat planning Korea's strategies for communicating economic issues to the world. With a Ph.D. from M.I.T., he had also worked at the World Bank.

Program Brief

Every Sunday morning from 5 to 6, we review tbs eFM's diverse variety of programs that aired each week. SoHyun, Oh and Gregory Yang join us in the studio for Part One of the show, to give us an outside view and constructive criticism on selected tbs eFM programming. But we don't just discuss eFM's programs - we also talk about other radio stations' programs and the latest media trends.

We also go over popular topics that were discussed in each program with our writer JeeAe Yoon, who tells us about the latest listener feedback.

And finally in Part Two we take an in-depth look into our programming with 'Jennifer Lee' and 'Lisa Schroeder'. Jennifer and Lisa will look at what hot topics made it into each week's programs, review which guest came on to tbs eFM, and go over the week's song selections, listener participation and feedback.
